Opening of the construction site of the UT1 Capitole building for the School of economics



On Wednesday 20 February 2013, the construction of a new building for Toulouse 1 Capitole University started in the area of Saint Pierre des Cuisines; it should be completed within 30 months.

This new building will be dedicated to the field of Economics and will host the  Toulouse School of Economics of UT1 Capitole which is currently located Allées de Brienne on the UT1/Manufacture des Tabacs site.

The building has been designed by the Irish firm Grafton architects. Facing the Saint-Pierre des Cuisines auditorium, the architecture of the building will be open onto the city and in harmony with the surroundings.
