The course is open to the students willing to start learning, brush up or improve their skills in French and gives access to 4 ECTS (subject to grades).
 

With a focus on the four skills part of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (oral and written comprehension and expression), the course aims at equipping the students with the French language skills needed to pursue their studies successfully in a French-speaking environment.

The teaching material is also designed to explore aspects of French civilization relevant to the fields of study on offer at UT1.
