The Master of Science is the first year of the Toulouse School of Management doctoral programme in Management. This intensive programme combines the best of theory, practice and reality-based education creatively: graduates pursue careers in leading universities and business schools, policy-oriented institutions and private firms. We deliberately keep the doctoral programme small to allow you to work closely with your supervisor and develop interaction with all faculty members.

Students who successfully complete the first year of the programme are awarded a Master of Science and may choose to end their formal training. The goal of this one-year programme is to provide students with the quantitative, analytical and theoretical tools for a successful academic or industry-oriented career.

Admission conditions

Students who wish to pursue a doctorate must apply to the Master of Science in Marketing, which is the first year of the Doctoral Programme

General organization of studies

The Master of Science ensures that students have acquired the necessary foundations of knowledge to advance in their studies. During this master, students are also trained in rigorous research techniques and work one-on-one with a faculty advisor to complete a master’s thesis that will be assessed by a board of professors.

The Master of Science in Marketing is taught by leading researchers in marketing, and prepares graduates to research or work in the fields of strategic marketing consulting, international marketing, and innovative technology marketing, among others. Courses are taught in English and in French.

The core courses bridge theory with adequate tools to understand and handle challenging real-world management issues, and unleash students’ potential, confidence and skills to develop groundbreaking ideas.
The curriculum of the programme emphasizes four essential areas of training for students:
· research tools and methodology
· in-depth study of their major
· skills to conduct research leading to high-level publications
· career development

The courses are accompanied by research practica. These courses are offered on-site only; no distance learning option is available.

Courses in marketing are:
Théorie du comportement du consommateur
Méthodes qualitatives et quantitatives
Analyse d’articles de recherche
Marketing qualitatif

Master thesis and/or Internship
