Taught entirely in English/ 2nd semester taught entirely by professionals.


This program gives students and professionals knowledge and know-how in international business law. Its purpose is to train international business lawyers.
The program offers three specialties linked to the three specialities of the  Cluster of Toulouse:
  • Aeronautic, space and embedded systems (Aerospace Valley)
  • Cancer- Bio-Health
  • Agriculture and Agro-business

The distinctiveness of this Master is to deliver seminars taught almost completely by professionals in these areas (Airbus, Atr, Latecoere, Eads Astrium, Spot Image, Thales, Continental, Pierre Fabre, 3a Groupe...).

The Master IBL is composed of two semesters, with compulsory and optional courses,  and an internship (minimum of three months), and exceptionally a thesis related to areas of  the cluster.

Each semester, students are proposed French language and French methodology seminars.

Targeted skill(s)

Occupational integration preparation, legal document drafting, plea and counselling simulations.

Admission conditions

You wish enter a master 2 in the university for 2017/2018: the procedure implies a selective access, considering there are no selections for the master 1. Considering a Master 1 (or equivalent) graduation in 2016/2017, your continuation into a master 2 is compelled by the regulation in effect at the start of the academic year 2016/2017.

Admission Criteria
The M2 is open to:
•    Students who have acquired 60 ECTS credits from their first year of Master specialised in international and European legal issues, but not exclusively.
•    Students must demonstrate proficiency in the English language.


Registration capacity:
This course is designed for a maximum number of 20 students.

Important dates:
Application from 9 May 2017 to 1st June 2017.

- Applicable regulations in certain regions or countries (in particular in EU)
- Example of a Request for proposal
- Answering and selection process, offer preparation

4 – Matters relating to aircraft business – 15hrs

- Aircraft leasing and financing
- Specific regulations applicable to air traffic
- Specific regulations applicable to transportation of passengers and goods
- Responsibility of aircraft companies
- Aircraft sale contracts (including the pre-negotiation phase)
- Product liability in the aeronautical sector
- Special seminar : legal aspects of retailing of remote detection satellite data

Pedagogical means and methods:
In an internal attendance mode, the coursework is adjusted to the number of students enrolled in the Master 2. Besides theoretical courses conducted by teachers, a practical and concrete approach of studied topics is provided by professionals. Students will also be granted free access to various university services such as computer rooms or documentation services.
