Founded in 1229, the University of Toulouse is one of the most renowned universities in France. The Faculty of Law, together with Sciences Po Toulouse, a selective interdisciplinary higher-education establishment, will be jointly organizing a summer session in European Studies. Both are ideally located in the heart of the city. GRASPING EUROPE will provide you with a historical, cultural, legal and political understanding of the make-up and running of Europe.    


GRASPING EUROPE - Toulouse Summer School in European Studies from June 30th to July 18th, 2014

GRASPING EUROPE will be interdisciplinary, touching upon areas such as history, law, politics and policies of the EU. There will be multiple learning methods such as lectures, round-table discussions and group-work. Basic French language skills will also be provided. Outings will include the most remarkable sites the region has to offer, and there will be the opportunity to enjoy traditional local gastronomy for which Toulouse has become famous.      

The academic program of this Summer School is equivalent to 15 credits (European Credits Tranfer System).
