►B2 Level* - Language certificate required

*Level according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

Exchange students are required to send a language certificate as part of their application. The certificate will be in French and/or in English depending on the lectures chosen at the University Toulouse Capitole.

Mandatory steps


After your registration at University:
You will have to register at the CPAM in order to get your compulsory health insurance. This is free and will allow you to entitle to reimbursement of health expenses.

24 hours per semester
Credits : 3 ECTS                                                                                                                       

Specialised French courses

  • French courses applied to a specific field of study
  • Legal French
  • Business French (Economics & Management), Analysis of current events through the French media

13.5 hours per semester
Credits : 1 ECTS
