François-Xavier Millet: winner of the 2013 Constitutional Council prize

François-Xavier Millet who has just joined our academic staff as assistant professor has been awarded the prize granted by the Constitutional Council for his thesis entitled “The European Union and the constitutional identity of member states”

François-Xavier Millet who has just joined our academic staff as assistant professor has been awarded the prize granted by the Constitutional Council for his thesis entitled "L'Union européenne et l'identité constitutionnelle des États membres" ("The European Union and the constitutional identity of member states").

This prize awarded every year distinguishes a thesis dealing with constitutional law, its history in France or comparative constitutional law.

Assistant professor in public law and Member of the IRDEIC, François-Xavier Millet defended his thesis on December 3rd 2012 at the European  University Institute in Firenze in collaboration with the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His thesis prepared under the supervision of Bruno De WITTE and Gérard MARCOU, was published last July with LGDJ-Lextenso publishers in the “Bibliothèque constitutionnelle et de science politique" collection.

He was awarded the 2013 prize by Jean-Louis Debré, the President of the Constitutional Council (see picture).
