IDETCOM international symposium "E-reputation and digital traces: from tools to societal challenges"

The Media, Culture and Communication (MC2) team of the Space, Territories and Communication Law Institute (IDETCOM), organizes the international symposium « E-reputation and digital imprints: From tools, their use to societal challenges ».

The symposium brings together a community of experts: lawyers, economists, sociologists, researchers in Communication and Information Sciences, managers, information technology engineers from academic research fields as well as professionals, Internet experts from the French and international, public and private sphere.

The international and multidisciplinary features of the event will enable participants to approach  four different aspects of e-reputation :

  • Item 1: « E-reputation »: Origin, usage and deconstruction of this emerging notion
  • Item 2: Digital traces and traceability
  • Item 3: « E-reputation »:  right to  oblivion, personal data, privacy  and public  use
  • Item 4: « E- reputation » and tools.

The two-day symposium will be organized as follows:
  • Plenary sessions with twenty-minute talks from experts
  • Thematic scientific workshops
  • Thematic round table meetings to facilitate exchanges between web professionals and specialists involved in applied research.
