Presentation of Toulouse Capitole University

Toulouse Capitole University proposes several arrangements to welcome international students. Besides exchange programmes, international students can study at UT Capitole in the frame of specific actions, or as free-mover students (not in the frame of exchange programmes).

Check the different arrangements depending on your profile :

You're not an exchange student
As a transitional measure, the University of Toulouse Capitole will partially waive the differential tuition fees for all non-EU students at the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year. These students will pay the same fees as national students for the whole studying period of their bachelor or master degree.

You're an exchange student

►You've been selected by your home/ establishment to benefit  from a student mobility programme at UT Capitole. Ex. Erasmus +, BCI (ex-CREPUQ), Bilateral agreements.

You're not an exchange student

►You've graduated abroad and you wish to apply for  one of our courses.

Specific Programs

►'China' actions: these specific visitor programmes support students so as to facilitate their integration into training programmes in Information Technology, Administration and Communication or in Economics at UT Capitole.

Financial Support for international students

►You are an international student (not in exchange programme), some financial aids (Eiffel, French government grants) are available !

Learning French at UT Capitole

The Languages and civilisations department (DLC) and the Language Resources Center (CRL) provide support to student wishing to learn French.


Welcome Desk

The Federal University of Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées welcomes students and researchers in its premises. Accommodation, transportation, work, health … The Welcome Desk is the « one-stop-shop » for any information relating to student and researcher life and proposes a customized support to formalities.


The Toul’Box is a customized welcome service for students and researchers hosted in one of the Higher Education institutions in Toulouse and Midi-Pyrénées. It provides information, tips, and several other provisions (booking of short-term or long-term accommodations, welcome service at the airport or at the train station, opening of a bank account, house insurance, public transportation subscription, etc.).
