This expansion aligns with the core values of ENGAGE.EU – to provide European citizens with the set of skills and competences needed to tackle major societal challenges.

Through the joining of two new partner institutions, the alliance will be enriched by a broader geographical spread, new collaboration possibilities for teaching and researching, as well as providing an even more exciting offer to its student community.

ENGAGE.EU partner institutions, including our university, will continue to put their joint research and teaching efforts into providing solutions and guidance addressing existing and new challenges such as climate change, ageing societies, migration, and digitalisation. Hanken School of Economics and Ramon Llull University will strengthen and widen the endeavour to make an impact and find solutions to these challenging issues facing Europe now and in years to come.

A welcome ceremony for these two new partners will be held at a joint meeting in Sofia in May 2022.
They will become full members with the start of the second funding phase.
