On January 26th, the Forum of Universities for the Future of Europe was held in the context of the French Presidency of the European Union in the presence of the Commission and several Member State governments.

The sustainability of European universities is also part of the new European strategy 2021-2027 for universities, published on January 18^th by the European Commission.
Launching the reflection on this subject is a priority during the six months of the French Presidency of the Union.

This Forum was an excellent opportunity for reflection on the role of European universities through dialogue involving national authorities, the European Commission and the European stakeholders in the higher education sector.

ENGAGE.EU had the opportunity to present its Innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurship component.

Our alliance has been selected to speak on the European University Alliances' roles in accompanying these evolutions and their implications for education and research in Europe.
