The French Aerospace Law Journal (RFDAS) was founded in 1946 with a triple objective:
• Study the problems arising within aerospace law,
• Express a French perspective on aerospace law,
• Inform readers of changes in aerospace law in France and further afield.

On this basis, each issue focuses on the following areas:
• Theory - feature articles by French-speaking legal experts;
• Legislation - French, European and foreign statutes and regulations and international treaties;
• Case-law - a collection of the most important French and foreign judgements with annotations.
• Conferences and conventions - a round-up of the main national and international events;
• Bibliography - a list of recently published books and journal articles.
