Toulouse Capitole University is pleased to invite administrative staff from its Erasmus+ partner institutions to participate in a staff training week dedicated to game-based learning and the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme from 15 to 19 June 2026. Apply by 15 March, 2026!

Overview


This Staff Week aims to bring together international higher education professionals interested in innovative pedagogical approaches. Participants will collaboratively design educational games to help incoming and outgoing students better understand and engage with the Erasmus+ priorities.

The Staff Week is organised within the framework of a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) and is therefore free of charge and eligible for Erasmus+ mobility grants.
 

Objectives


The main objectives of the Staff Week are to:
 
  • Explore game-based learning as an innovative and inclusive pedagogical approach
  • Deepen participants’ understanding of the Erasmus+ cross-cutting priorities:
    • Inclusion and diversity
    • Digital transformation
    • Environment and the fight against climate change
    • Participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement
  • Co-create educational games and playful tools aimed at:
    • Incoming Erasmus+ students
    • Students preparing an outgoing Erasmus+ mobility
  • Exchange good practices and methodologies among international colleagues
  • Strengthen inter-institutional cooperation within the Erasmus+ framework

Programme Highlights


The programme will combine:
 
  • Interactive workshops on game-based learning and serious games
  • Collaborative game design sessions in international teams
  • Presentations and peer feedback on the games developed
  • Exchanges on student engagement, internationalisation, and Erasmus+ priorities
  • Networking and cultural activities organised by Toulouse Capitole University

Target group


This Staff Week is open to:
 
  • Administrative staff
  • International relations officers
  • Educational developers and instructional designers
  • Any staff involved or interested in:
    • Erasmus+ mobility
    • Student support and engagement
    • Career Service
    • Innovative teaching and learning methods
Participants must be employed by a higher education institution holding an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and a partner of Toulouse Capitole University.
 

Practical Information

 
  • Participation fee: free of charge
  • Funding: eligible for Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training (STT) grants, subject to validation by the participant’s home institution
  • Meals: all lunches and one dinner included
Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Recommendations will be provided to selected participants by Toulouse Capitole University.

Interested candidates are invited to fill in the application form below by March 15th, 2026.

Selection results will be communicated via email by the end of March.
