Two Toulouse students silver medalists at the 27th Summer Universiade in Kazan.

The summer and winter international Universiade are organized every other year by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). Second only to the Olympic Games in terms of number of participating athletes, the event gathered around 13,500 students from 170 different countries.

Several students from the University of Toulouse have performed outstandingly.

Johnathan Allardon, student in sports at UT 3 has won the lightweight judo silver medal. Pierre Peres, student at INSA and Benoît Jasmin, BTS student in business management (MUC), won the Rugby sevens silver medal.
