A Message from the Vice-President for Research
Over the past few decades, other academic disciplines within the social sciences and humanities have enriched UT Capitole: communication studies, sociology and psychology – and, outside the social sciences and humanities, computer science, mathematics, statistics and biology. As these last four academic disciplines are at the forefront of interdisciplinarity, their development within the university stems from the need for the social sciences and humanities to open up and cooperate on a day-to-day basis on cross-cutting themes (health, biology, the environment, climate, people and society, space and aeronautics, agronomy, heritage, urban planning, corporate social responsibility, AI, digital technology and society, etc.).
Drawing on the strength of all its academic disciplines, EPE UT Capitole promotes ambitious, open and responsible research, which lies at the heart of the institution’s strategic plan.”
Professor Patrice Roussel (TSM-R), Vice-President for Research at UT Capitole
