The ‘Human Resources Strategy for Researchers’ (HRS4R) accreditation
On the way to European certification « HR Excellence in Research »
Since 2020, Toulouse Capitole University has been participating in the European ‘Human Resources Strategy for Researchers’ (HRS4R) initiative with a view to obtaining the ‘HR Excellence in Research’ label awarded by the European Commission.
This initiative, which aims to strengthen and improve research institutions’ practices regarding the recruitment and working conditions of researchers, is based on the European Charter for Researchers.
This document contains 20 principles divided into 4 pillars:
- ethics, integrity, gender and open science;
- the evaluation, recruitment and career progression of researchers;
- working conditions and methods;
- careers in research and talent development.

- Enhance the University’s visibility and appeal at European and international level
