The EPE Toulouse Capitole University coordinates 13 research units, 2 research institutes and 3 doctoral schools, comprising 411 university lecturers and researchers from the CNRS and INRAE. The EPE is the primary supervisory body for 2 CNRS joint research units (UMRs) and the secondary supervisory body for 2 other UMRs. The EPE is also the secondary supervisory body for 3 other doctoral schools and the MSHS in Toulouse.

EPE’s research support staff comprises 66 permanent and contract staff. As of 31 December 2024, 485 PhD students were being supervised by EPE’s academic staff and researchers.
