Mathieu Ferré wins the International Trophy of the Young Tax Professional of the Year

Mathieu, second year student of the Master’s Degree in fiscal law has come through the 2013 international final of the Trophy of the Young Tax Professional of the Year with flying colours.

After being awarded the 2013 national Trophy of the Young Professional of the Year on May 30th in Paris, Mathieu Ferré, student in the second year of the Master’s Degree in fiscal law (french website) at University Toulouse 1 Capitole, has won the world title in Copenhagen.

The World Trophy of the Young Tax Professional of the Year launched in 2011 gathers all the finalists of the national contests organized for young graduates by Ernst Young throughout the world.

The competition held in parallel with the 67th International Fiscal Association congress consisted in the oral presentation in English of an international tax-centered topic before a prestigious jury of expert academics, professionals, high-ranking representatives of international administrations and Ernst & Young partners.

Mathieu, one of the 28 runners-up who had already been named best tax young professional in their home country, has been awarded the first prize,“ a 30 day round the world business trip ” built around working visits of  the key Ernst & Young locations in London, Washington DC and  Hong Kong.
