The University Toulouse Capitole, represented by Loïc Demeester (Director of the International Office) and Charlene Finkbeiner (International Cooperation Officer at the International Office) attended the EAIE (European Association for International Education) conference from Monday 25 September to Friday 29 September 2023 in Rotterdam in Netherlands. Toulouse School of Management, represented by Cecile Gregoriades (Head of International Relations at TSM), was also present.

The 33rd Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition brought together over 6,700 higher education professionals from over 100 countries.

The EAIE conference gave us the opportunity to meet some of our 300 European and non-European partners, including our Engage partners, to strengthen existing cooperation and establish new relationships in order to broaden the academic offer available to our students.

In addition to the fruitful meetings with our partners, this event was also an opportunity to take part in sessions on different topics relating to international student mobility, the 'Erasmus without paper' strategy and the internationalisation of higher education institutions, as well as to take part in 'speed networking' activities - stimulating sessions to identify potential new partnerships.

The next edition of the EAIE will be held from 17-20 September 2024 at the MEET conference centre in Toulouse. The theme of this year's event is “En Route!” It's a great opportunity to showcase Toulouse's universities and schools (for its excellence, international dimension, etc.) and also to showcase our beautiful pink city to our partners and other institutions. An event you won't want to miss in Toulouse!
