The UFA is a bi-national institution whose main mission is to encourage, evaluate and participate in the financing of Franco-German courses. These programmes are implemented in more than 100 university cities in France and Germany by more than 190 "grandes écoles", universities and Fachhochschulen, bringing together more than 6,400 students and nearly 300 doctoral candidates.

Furthermore, the UFA quality label has been awarded to 2 UT Capitole training courses, which have received financial support since the start of the academic year 2018-2019:

• The Master in International Marketing, jointly led by UT Capitole (Toulouse School of Management) and the Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt
• The Double degree in Franco-German Law, jointly led by UT Capitole (European School of Law) and the Universität des Saarlandes

The award of the label and the network membership acknowledge UT Capitole actions towards the French-German partnership, already enacted through exchange agreements with 17 German universities for students and professors.
