The health sector is facing major changes due to far-reaching scientific progress and technological breakthrough.
The health sector is undergoing huge transformations thanks to the progress achieved in new ICTs, in the Internet of Things and connected objects. Yet, new technologies raise issues in terms of responsibility, accountability, ethics and deontology. The players of the sector also wonder whether the introduction of norms and standards is going to encourage scientific research or rather spur the uberization of healthcare. The huge development of on-line pharmacy is also a major challenge to consumers’ protection especially because of the boom of counterfeit drugs available on the net. This is why it is absolutely necessary to encourage a comparative approach of the French and Chinese state of the art in order to feed fruitful discussions and to envisage desirable avenues for progress.
