- Life of the Institution,
What is my login? What is my password?
How do you access your UT Capitole computer account?
Your identifiers (username and password) are used for almost all the computer accesses of the university (from wifi to messaging and note-taking).
What is it?
What for?
In addition, your login details allow you to log in to the University’s computers, as well as to the campus Wi-Fi.

You are a member of staff:
All University staff are provided (the day after their registration by the HR Department) with a computer account to access all the institution’s digital services (Intranet, Wi-Fi, computers, etc.).
Your username and password will be provided at the reception desk of the IT Department’s “3636” support service, office AR132, upon presentation of your ID.
You are a non-permanent member of staff at the institution:
For certain categories of non-permanent staff at the institution, external contractors or so-called ‘hosted’ staff (who are not paid by UT Capitole), the Human Resources Department does not automatically record them in the HR database. It is essential that a manager responsible for such a staff member contacts the Human Resources Department to ensure they are included. The staff member will automatically receive their computer account details via text message.
My username
For security reasons, your username is not provided to you when you register. To receive your username, simply log in at https://intranet.ut-capitole.fr. Once on the login page, click on ‘Forgotten your username?’ then enter your ‘Personal email address or mobile number’ in the field provided before clicking ‘Submit’.
My password
For security reasons, your password is not disclosed to you when you register. To receive your password, simply log in at https://intranet.ut-capitole.fr. Once on the login page, click on ‘Forgotten your password?’ then fill in the ‘Username’ and ‘Date of birth’ fields before clicking ‘Submit’.
NOTE: If your mobile number and personal email address are not on record, you will need to complete an online form, which will be processed by a technician from the IT Department’s support team.
Check that your login details have been activated
If your login details are correct, the authentication service will confirm this with the message ‘Authentication successful’.
Changing your password
It is advisable to change your password regularly to ensure your data is as secure as possible.
Please note that passwords are case-sensitive (distinguish between upper and lower case): you can switch between upper and lower case, but you will then need to enter the password in exactly the same way (which can be tricky as it is not displayed in plain text).
Obtaining a temporary computer account
The request must be made by a member of University staff who already has a ‘computer account’ themselves, via this online form (authenticated access). They will assume legal responsibility for their guest’s use of the account.
The account username and password will be sent by email.
