On May 21 and 22, 2026, the University of Toulouse Capitole was pleased to welcome 25 researchers from 10 universities for the second edition of the ENGAGE.EU WISE (Workshop on Inclusive and Sustainable Employment) workshop, dedicated to the theme “Inclusivity in Times of Technological Change.”
Over two days, 25 researchers from 10 universities gathered at the University of Toulouse Capitole for the second edition of the Workshop on Inclusive and Sustainable Employment (WISE), dedicated to the theme “Inclusivity in Times of Technological Change.”
Organised by Caroline Manville (TSM), Véronique Robert (TSM), Mahsa Abedini (Luiss University), Silvia Dello Rosso (Luiss University), and Ivana Vranjes (Tilburg University), the workshop brought together international researchers to discuss the transformations shaping the future of work in Europe and beyond.
The programme featured keynote lectures by Erin Sullivan (Sawyer Business School, Suffolk University), Emma Nordbäck (Hanken School of Economics), and Tinne Vander Elst (Tilburg University), as well as interdisciplinary presentations and discussions on more inclusive and sustainable labour markets delivered by over 20 researchers (programme available here).
This workshop is part of the many projects supported under the ENGAGE.EU Research Seeding Funding Label call, which funds small-scale, bottom-up, time-limited research collaborations within the ENGAGE.EU Alliance. It fully illustrates the value of international academic cooperation in addressing major societal challenges.
