  • What is the MIC project (KA 171)?

Toulouse Capitole University takes part in mobility projects in partnership with third countries not associated with the Erasmus+ programme: projects formerly known as ‘International Credit Mobility (MIC)’ under Key Action KA 171, ‘Higher education mobility supported by EU external policy funds’, of the Erasmus+ programme. The aim of this action is to promote employability, social inclusion, civic engagement, innovation and sustainable development in Europe and beyond by offering students at different levels and in various fields of study the opportunity to study or undertake training abroad as part of their studies.

To this end, the University drew up and submitted the Capit'All project in February 2026 in collaboration with four universities:

  • Javna Ustanova Univerziteit Crne Gore Podgorica, Montenegro,
  • Georgian National University SEU, Georgia,
  • Mohammed VI Polytechnic University – UM6P, Morocco,
  • Universidad de Chile, Chile.

This project involves incoming and outgoing mobility schemes for students, administrative staff and teaching staff over a period of three years. The project was selected in July 2026 and is funded by Erasmus+ under the 2021–2027 programme.

The ‘Capit’All’ project aims to combine academic excellence, multilingualism and inclusion by creating a cooperation network between four regions of the world: Europe, the Caucasus, Africa and Latin America.

The mobility opportunities on offer are aimed at students, administrative staff and academic staff from the five institutions taking part in the project. An enriching mobility opportunity is available to everyone.

MIC projects enable the mutual enrichment of our academic programmes through the exchange of academic staff between our universities. PhD students are offered the opportunity to develop their scientific network and contribute to the development of international scientific collaborations between the research units of the partner universities. Students can discover a new culture whilst validating their academic progress through the recognition of ECTS credits. As for administrative staff, international mobility will provide an opportunity to exchange best practices in similar roles and to discover a new professional and cultural environment.

This MIC Capit’All project is aimed at students, PhD students, administrative staff and academic staff at the University of Toulouse Capitole, the Javna Ustanova Univerzitet Crne Gore Podgorica in Montenegro, the Georgian National University SEU in Georgia, the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University – UM6P in Morocco and the University of Chile in Chile.

Mobility opportunities may take place throughout the project period, from 31 August 2026 to 31 July 2029.
