Erasmus Mundus, an essential step in establishing a joint master's program
The Erasmus Mundus program started in 2004. It is an extension of the Erasmus+ program, which aims to enhance the visibility and appeal of European higher education worldwide.
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programs are implemented by a consortium of at least three higher education institutions from three different countries. They are based on:
joint academic programs,
common administrative and financial management procedures,
and a range of common services for all students.
The program requires at least two mandatory study abroad periods in two different countries. Upon completion of the joint master’s program, students are awarded a dual, multiple, or joint degree.
