L’UT Capitole welcome Professor Romain Lorentz for two seminars

Romain Lorentz, Senior Participating Adjunct Professor in the Department of Ethics and Business Law at the Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas (Minneapolis, USA), will be leading at UT Capitole two seminars on U.S. Supreme Court case law and comparative legal cultures.

Romain Lorentz is a Senior Participating Adjunct Professor in the Department of Ethics and Business Law at the Opus College of Business de l’Université de St. Thomas ( (Minneapolis, USA), where he has been teaching since 2006.

A recognized specialist in American law,comparative law, and business law, he previously taught American law at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, where he also coordinated the LL.M. program in French and European business law.
 

He also worked for three years at Thomson Reuters, contributing, in particular, to the launch of the Westlaw Edge platform.
 

Romain Lorentz currently collaborates with major law firms on complex cases and acts as a consultant in US Federal law and compliance for French companies exporting to the United States.
 

His research focuses on :

He has presented his work at academic conferences in North America, South America, Africa, and Europe. He has also been a Visiting Professor at the University of Strasbourg for several years. He holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Orléans, a DEA (LL.M.) in Comparative Law, and a PhD in Private Law from the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas).
