Luisa A. Unda is a Professor of Accounting at the Faculty of Business Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Luisa A. Unda is a Professor of Accounting at the Faculty of Business Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands , Spain. She obtained her doctoral degree from La Trobe University (Australia) in 2016 and has held academic positions at the University of Mannheim, Germany, Monash University, Australia and La Trobe University, Australia.
Prof. Unda's research interests include :
- corporate governance
- financial reporting quality
- managerial attributes
- climate and sustainability disclosures
- gender differences in financial decision making
- financial inclusion
Her research work is regularly presented at international conferences and has been published in impactful and widely recognized journals, such as the European Accounting Review, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance, Financial Accountability and Management, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Abacus, among others.
Prof. Dr. Unda has developed a strong teaching record across undergraduate and postgraduate accounting and finance courses. She is the principal investigator of the teaching innovation project: Integrated Sustainable Development into Accounting Using Generative Artificial Intelligence Tools.
She is the Vice-president of the International Research Society InSPiR2eS; member of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee of the European Accounting Association; and Research Ambassador of the Grudis Accounting Research Network.
