The EPE Université Toulouse Capitole mobilises for the EAIE 2024
from September 17, 2024 to September 20, 2024
Campus Experience Day at UT Capitole - September 17
For over thirty years, the European Association for International Education (EAIE) has supported the internationalisation of higher education in Europe. Each year, this not-for-profit association organises an annual conference that brings together all its members around conferences, workshops and campus visits, with a view to sharing experiences and promoting the internationalisation of academia.
This European event has not been hosted in France since 2010, until this 34th edition, which will take place in Toulouse from 17 to 20 September 2024. A Campus Experience day will be organised on the Toulouse Capitole University site on Tuesday 17 September from 10am.
This week of sharing between the 6500 men and women taking part in the EAIE 2024 is an opportunity to highlight the wealth of mobility opportunities available to students at the EPE Université Toulouse Capitole. With all of its components and component institutions, the university offers a wide range of European exchanges and beyond, which are favourable to the internationalisation of its courses.
"For the last 8 months, Noé has been living an incredible experience in Japan, where he is studying at Hitotsubashi ICS (Hitotsubashi University Business School). From discovering Japanese culture to his adventures across the country, he shares his enriching experiences on his blog and newsletter."
"My name is Anoosheh and I'm from India. I did my undergraduate studies at the Gokhale Institute and as there are a lot of exchanges between TSE and Gokhale, I thought I'd give it a try as it's one of the best economics departments around. [...] I think TSE offers a very stimulating environment, which can be intimidating, especially when you move to a new city. But beyond that, everyone I meet is very friendly. Even though I speak very little French, I find the welcome I've received very pleasant and I really enjoy my life here, especially with my friends and all the international students."
Sylvie Zongo
Bebiyanda Sylvie Zongo, a PhD student at Toulouse Capitole University, Centre de droit des affaires (CDA) has been on a mobility programme in Canada :
"My time at the University of Sherbrooke has been extremely rewarding in many ways. First of all, I would like to emphasise the excellence of their research programme. The resources and facilities available to me were first-rate. The professors and researchers with whom I was able to interact were not only competent, but also very open and available. [...] This stay, made possible by a mobility grant from the Direction d'appui à la recherche (DAR), really strengthened my passion for research."
What motivated you to choose Sciences Po Toulouse for your studies ? "I wanted to broaden my political science profile, and Sciences Po Toulouse was the ideal place to do that. On top of that, many of the courses are interdisciplinary. The city of Toulouse also proved ideal for a year's exchange."
What did you think of student life in Toulouse ? "I think Toulouse offers a vibrant student life and lots of opportunities to meet new people, especially international students, thanks to the Erasmus student network. In general, there is a lot to do in Toulouse and both the Crous and Sciences Po Toulouse organise a lot of events during the semester."
