A reminder about H2020
Horizon 2020 or H2020 is the flagship programme for funding R&D activities in Europe for the period 2014–2020.
With a budget of €79 billion and a strong focus on innovation, H2020 brings together all the R&D funding instruments implemented by the European Commission, its agencies and its public-private partnerships.
The H2020 programmes are divided into three pillars, which depend on the objectives, scope and maturity of the proposed research: scientific excellence, industrial leadership and societal challenges.
