From 8 to 10 October 2025, Toulouse Capitole University will host the 20th conference of the International Research Network on Organisations and Sustainable Development (RIODD). This international event will bring together researchers, lecturers and practitioners to discuss the theme ‘Between conflict and convergence: social acceptability in socio-environmental transitions’.
Organised in partnership with the University of Toulouse, the House of Human and Social Sciences, INRAE and the Toulouse Community of Universities and Institutions, this 20th RIODD conference takes place in a context marked by the exceeding of planetary boundaries, climate change and the collapse of biodiversity. It will provide a space for multidisciplinary dialogue to analyse the organisational modes that promote or hinder sustainable transitions, questioning the notion of social acceptability and possible levers for action.
Toulouse Capitole University, committed to responsible research rooted in contemporary societal issues, is proud to host this major event, which will showcase local expertise and strengthen exchanges between the international academic community, local stakeholders and civil society.
