In addition, from March 1, 2021, the university is setting up a system to screen the student population for Covid-19, including the creation of a "drive" on its Toulouse campus. Tests by saliva sampling will be carried out on simple presentation of the student card.
An information page updated in real time is at your disposal to know all the measures implemented. Only one address : www.ut-capitole.fr/coronavirus
I would like advice and information on how to comply with health regulations at the University, who can I contact?
I wish to carry out a screening test with Covid-19: can I do it at Toulouse Capitole University?
Covid saliva tests will be rolled out under the supervision of Professor Soulat in charge of preventive medicine at UT1 Capitole University. A member of the Toulouse Teaching Hospital (CHU) or of the SIMPPS and two students-ambassadors will be available from 8 am to 1 from Mondays to Fridays. They will attend to the students and the university administrative staff members who want to be tested.
The test samples will be sent to Purpan Teaching Hospital (CHU) by the Purpan staff at UT1 Capitole. Their sequencing and analysis will help to check for the new SARS-CoV-2 variants (UK variant, etc..) among the students population.
A testing campaign will also take place on the Montauban campus. An action "Information/screening Covid-19" is indeed proposed by ARS Occitanie, in partnership with APAS 82 on Tuesday, March 30th.
The students of the IUT of Rodez who wish to be tested can go to one of the LXBIO laboratories, present in all the department of Aveyron. The IUT has established a partnership with this laboratory to privilege the screening of students from the Rodez campus.
I present symptoms of Covid-19 or I had a contact of more than 15 minutes without mask or distance with a contaminated person: what should I do?
At the same time :
- I inform my school. I can send a medical certificate to justify my absence if the doctor has issued one. The contact information for each school is indicated on the university's website, page "Manage your schooling" (in french);
- I inform the Covid referent of the University by filling in the online form;
- I perform a screening test. To do so, I can go to the Toulouse campus of the Anciennes Facultés at the SIMPSS office (located in the courtyard of the Institut d'Études Politiques, on the first floor, behind the cafeteria), where as of March 1, 2021, rapid tests will be carried out in small quantities, used and analyzed on site. The students of the IUT of Rodez can go to one of the LXBIO laboratories, present in all the department of Aveyron. INTERNSHIPS
As a result of the health crisis, my internship was cancelled or interrupted during the academic year 2020-2021. Can I benefit from financial aid? How do I apply?
- A compensation fund for cancelled or interrupted internships has been set up by the University. It concerns compulsory internships of more than two months in the year 2020-2021 that have been the subject of an internship agreement validated by the University.
- If my internship has been postponed or replaced in its entirety and/or if I continue to receive a bonus, I am not eligible for this assistance.
- If eligible, I must complete an online form (In french) between January 4, 2021 and March 26, 2021. To do so, I must provide proof of the cancellation or interruption of my internship. This document must specify the number of months of internship "lost".
My internship agreement has been validated by the university. The host structure will only maintain my internship if I can work from home. Can I do this internship?
My internship must take place abroad. The health context does not allow me to move, the host structure offers me an internship at a distance. Can I set up this option for an internship initially planned abroad?
In this case, your internship agreement will have to be amended. You will indicate the "remote" mode by specifying the address from which you will work (home, third place...).
What are the administrative procedures to which I must submit if I do my internship at a distance?
We also draw your attention to the fact that working at a distance implies that you must remain at the disposal of the structure and comply with the provisions of the initial internship agreement. You must remain available for your host structure and respect the schedules defined by it.
I just found an internship, can I get a validation from the university to start it?
- The Ministry of Higher Education reminds companies of their responsibility to rethink their organisations in order to :
- Limit meetings to what is strictly necessary,
- Limit employee groupings in small spaces,
- Cancel or postpone unnecessary trips,
- Adapt work organization, particularly through team rotation.
During the internship, if these conditions are not met, if you feel insecure, you can exercise your right to withdraw.
Regarding the creation of your internship agreement, you must follow the usual procedure.
TSE and TSM students follow the procedure indicated by their attachment component.
Your agreement will be returned to you signed by the university in return.
Can I physically go to the internship office?
All your requests can be treated by email or by phone:
stages@ut-capitole.fr
05 61 63 37 35
Monday : 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Tuesday to Thursday : 9h -12h and 13h30 -16h30
All information on internships (in french)
What is the procedure to follow if my internship is postponed or cancelled/interrupted due to the health crisis?
- If my internship is simply postponed, I must contact the internship office to make an amendment to my internship agreement specifying the new dates.
- If my internship is cancelled or interrupted and it is for an internship longer than two months, I must also make a rider specifying the effective date.
- If my internship is cancelled and it is less than two months, I must contact the internship office to cancel my internship agreement.
I would like to do an internship abroad, can I leave despite the health situation?
Internship applications for a country classified in red zone (see orange) must also be applied for even if you currently reside in the country in question.
Internships in overseas departments and regions and overseas collectivities are allowed. On the other hand, the health context being unstable, it is recommended to monitor the situation on site by consulting the following link: https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/
The elective internships outside the EU are not considered a compelling reason and are currently not eligible for an internship agreement.
In order to best prepare your departure we strongly recommend you to check the following points :
- Arrangement proposed by the reception structure that respects the instructions of social distancing.
- Opening of the borders between the countries concerned and organization of your quarantine upon arrival
