Pierre-Yves Andrau, is an European Commission officer at the Directorate of Services and Investment, Intellectual Property and Public Procurement.

In the context of the increasing globalization of intellectual property, the European Commission plays a major part in its dissemination within the framework of free-trade agreements. Intellectual property issues are quite often high on the agendas. The lecture delivered Pierre-Yves Andrau will explore the role of the European Commission in these rounds of negotiations.
