AERODS Centre of Excellence - Aerospace, Defence and Social Sciences
The centre of excellence benefits both from the expertise of researchers from numerous departments at Toulouse Capitole University (Toulouse School of Law, Faculty of Information Technology, Toulouse School of Management, Toulouse School of Economics and Sciences Po Toulouse) and from close partnerships with public and industrial stakeholders and several higher education and research institutions in the field of fundamental and applied sciences. In particular, it brings together a wide range of expertise through a consortium agreement with ONERA and ISAE-Supaero.
AERODS thus places aerospace defence policies and issues at the heart of research and training at Toulouse Capitole University.

A platform for research, training and expertise
Funded and certified by the French Ministry of Defence over five years, to the tune of €1.93 million, AERODS is a research centre dedicated to analysing the economic, industrial and strategic dynamics of defence aerospace.
At the interface between academic research, strategic expertise and public policy analysis, AERODS aims to inform decisions relating to industrial sovereignty, defence capabilities and European and international cooperation in the field of aeronautical and space defence.
The AERODS project aims to create a space for dialogue between the aerospace industry, public authorities and academia in the field of social sciences. It also aims to consolidate and develop training courses related to these topics in Toulouse, particularly for practitioners.
A platform for research, training and expertise, the AERODS project has set itself five years to make Toulouse Capitole University one of the leading academic centres for the French and European aerospace industry.
