Proposal Description
This collaboration will take place between students at Université Toulouse Capitole and the McKinney School of Law. The COIL modality will enable students to study the parallel and complementary legal systems of France and the European Union, and to expand students' professional and personal networks to include future lawyers and jurists in France and the EU. More specifically, the COIL will include the following collaboration via Zoom:
Joint classroom meetings to discuss US Antitrust, French and EU Competition Law, comparisons of origins and goals
Synchorouns student group work to explain concepts to each other, at least two students from each classroom
This proposal idea remains open to all interested professors to contribute their own ideas for how best to couple their course with the virtual exchange collaboration: i.e. propositions for specific topics discussed, assessment methods, duration of virtual component, etc.
