Individual vs Collective Perspective for MAS---A quick overview of my research area

Martina Baiardi is a PhD student at the University of Bologna, Italy, since November 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Danilo Pianini. She is doing her PhD in Computer Science and she is proposing a tool for programming BDI Multi-Agent Systems coupled with Aggregate Computing Paradigm.
 
Her research interests include Software Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, Virtualization, Container Orchestration, Multi-Agent Systems, Collective Systems, and Autonomic Systems. Her work focuses on software models for complex systems, addressing both individual entities and their collective behavior.
 
In this presentation, she will introduce the main research directions of her PhD and some of the application she investigated.
